Common support questions.

How do I back up my vault?

Go to Settings > Backup & Recovery. You can create a password-protected encrypted backup file, or rely on your regular iCloud Backup. We recommend doing both for maximum protection.

How do I delete all my data?

Go to Settings and scroll to the Danger Zone at the bottom. Tap "Delete Primary User" to permanently erase all profiles, records, contacts, and documents from your device. This cannot be undone.

Can I move my data to a new phone?

Yes. If you restore your new phone from an iCloud Backup, your LifeVault data should transfer automatically. You can also create an encrypted LifeVault backup file and restore it on your new device through Settings > Backup & Recovery.

The app locked me out — what do I do?

LifeVault uses your device's Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode to unlock. If biometric authentication isn't working, try your device passcode. If you continue to have trouble, email support@lifevaultapp.com and we'll help troubleshoot.

How do I report a bug?

Use the contact form below and select "Bug report" as the topic. Include what you were doing when the issue occurred and your device model if possible. You can also email support@lifevaultapp.com directly.
